Design courses
If you have an interest in interior design and would like to further your knowledge and create schemes for your home, Sarah cowling of SD Interior & Lifestyle offers:
A one day Interior Design course: available to participants who have an interest in interior design with little or no knowledge on the subject.
- What will you learn?
- The basics and starting point of design, working with colour, simple mood and sample boards to illustrate different schemes.
A one day lighting course: available to participants who would like a greater understanding of how to use light within an interior, basing a scheme around furniture layouts.
- What will you learn?
- You will be working with prepared plans and learning the five different ways to light a room, different lighting schemes and how light sources change the colours of fabrics and furnishings.
A four day design course: available to participants who have little or no knowledge of interior and lighting design. This course could follow on from the above as it takes the subject to the next level.
- What will you learn?
- Designing an interior scheme of your choice from scratch, from mood boards to sample boards. The fourth day you will be working on a lighting scheme for your design to complete your project.
