…Sarah Cowling has always had a passion for design; from clothes which she has designed and made, to a course in stage make - up, but eventually she found the outlet for all that latent creativity in interior design. Gathering her inspiration from current trends and historical architecture, her work has been featured in:

Having completed a self-build project, Sarah soon recognized what was needed in the design world, and now bridges the missing link between the tradesmen and the client, especially where lighting is concerned. Having attended a design school in Chelsea, London, she discovered the importance of lighting within interiors and now forms SD Interiors lighting specialist.
Sarah says drawing up plans is essential to create a successful living space. "If you start off 2D then to bring it to life with colour and texture, fabrics, surfaces". Her passion for her career is so great that she decided to give everyone the chance to design rooms in their own homes, she now runs short private courses.
Sarah also has her own design label (Lifestyle) designing lifestyle products such as handmade eclectic silk eiderdowns, lampshades, bolsters and cushions which are all embellished in diamante buckles and Swarovksi crystal buttons.
